Introducing The Dirty Dozen


The Dirty Dozen list points out produce with the highest loads of pesticide residues. This year the list includes, in descending order, strawberries, spinach, nectarines, apples, grapes, peaches, cherries, pears, tomatoes, celery, potatoes and sweet bell peppers. These kind of produce should always be bought organic if possible.

Over here is The Clean Fifteen

The Clean Fifteen ​list showcases food that can be bought at a conventional store and do not need to be organic. It's mainly used to help decide when you can save money by buying fruits and vegetables.
